Carols @ Dusk
Sacred Heart has a long and proud tradition of celebrating the musical and in particular vocal talents in the Christmas season. For many years we have gathered as a community to listen to the children of SHS share their voices. This year we look forward to another evening of entertainment listening to the many voices and choirs of SHS.
On Wednesday November 26th commencing at 5.30pm is our Carols @ Dusk. The evening is an opportunity to gather to listen and watch the children of Sacred Heart share their vocal talents with the community.
Families are welcome to bring picnic hampers to enjoy. As with any large event our school has some expectations for all of us to enjoy the evening:
• We are gathering to enjoy listening and watching others perform. This means children should not be running around and playing. Children are expected to sit with their families. Parents are asked to remind your children about this. We will be reminding children of the expectations prior to the night.
• Parents are responsible for their children. Teachers are attending to watch and enjoy not to spend time reminding children to sit with their families.
• All play equipment is out of bounds.
• Mr Crawford and Mr Mills have put hours into planning and preparing, the children have spent many weeks practising. This means our audience needs to respect the performers.
• Families are welcome to bring their own food and drink. Our school is not providing any food or drink because the focus for our night is on the children performing.
We all look forward to a memorable evening listening to the talents of the children of SHS.
